Room owners and administrators can configure rooms to automatically archive posts that have been inactive for a certain period of time.
Archived posts will not be returned in normal search results, unless include archive content is enabled when searching. Additionally, archived posts will be removed from the room and the home feeds.
Configuring an Existing Room to Automatically Archive Posts
- You must be a room owner or an administrator to configure archiving for a room
- Login to the App and open the room you want to edit
- Click on the gear icon to access the room settings
- Scroll down to the Auto Archive Section
- Enable auto archive by checking the box.
- Enter the amount of days of inactivity that need to pass before the post is archived.
- Click Save at the bottom of the screen
