To prevent users from performing certain actions, administrators with Super Admin permissions can restrict access to various components in the interface.

Some examples of functionality you may want to hide from end users are:

  • Creating a new room
  • Ability to see room members
  • Ability to schedule posts

How to Restrict Access

  • Confirm you have super admin permissions
  • Go to the part of the app that has the icon/functionality you want to restrict.  For example, if you want to restrict access to something on the users profile, open a user profile.
  • Click the pencil icon in the lower left corner of the app.  If you do not see the pencil icon, you DO NOT have super admin permissions
  •  Click on the icon covering the item you want to restrict

  • Select the users you are hiding the item from in the drop down box

  • If you restrict access for all users, you can enter exceptions in the except for field.  This is an easy way to give just a few users permissions to see the item.
  • Click Save
  • Click the pencil icon to exit edit mode
