By default, Konverse excludes system, administrator, and guest accounts when syncing users from external systems such as Azure Active Directory, Google Workspace, etc. If you have other users in your system that you do not want to sync to your app, you can add a user filter.


You must be an App Admin or Super Admin to perform the steps below.


Configure a User Filter

  • Login to the app
  • Search for Member Management in the left nav 
  • Select External Sync 
  • Click the pencil on the sync configuration you'd like to edit 
  • At the top of the screen select user filters 
  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on add user exclusion option
  • Select the type
  • Select the match type
  • Enter the value
  • Click save

The next time the sync runs the user will be excluded.  If the user currently exists in the system, the account will be disabled on the next sync.
