App admins and super admins have access to see how their users are engaging with the system. To locate these analytics, search for, and click on "Analytics" in the left hand navigation. Please allow the page to load for a moment.

Once the page is loaded, you'll have access to see the number of active users, and how they are accessing the system.

Time Frame

You'll first want to choose the time frame from which you would like to pull metrics. This can be done from the drop down in the upper right hand corner, which defaults to the "Last 7 days". This can be updated to the "Last 30 days" or you can select a "Custom Range". Once you've made this selection, all the data will update accordingly.

Basic Overview

For a basic overview of the activity, you'll see the following analytics with a number associated. If you want to know who those folks are, click on the "Download" button, to send yourself a file.

  • Active Users = Users who have interacted with content either within the system or viewing email notifications
  • Logged In = Users who logged into the system
  • Content Creators = Users who have created posts within the system
  • Desktop Users = Users who accessed the system via a desktop
  • Desktop Only Users = Users who ONLY accessed the system via a desktop
  • Mobile Users = Users who accessed the system via a mobile device
  • Mobile Only Users = Users who ONLY accessed the system via a mobile device

You can also view some of this same information in a graph, if you scroll down the analytics page. If you hover over the graph, it will provide the date and number of users associated with chart you are viewing (e.g. Active Users, Logged In or Content Creators).

Most Active Rooms, Posts and Plugins

At the end of the analytics page, you can also view the which rooms, posts or plugins (links) are the most active. This information is based on views during the selected time frame (see below). Views are actual number of views (vs. # of people viewed).
