Users with app admin access, have the ability to update many colors within the app, as well as the icon in the upper left hand corner, and the homepage. 


To begin, search for "branding" in the left hand navigation. 


Primary Theme Color

You will automatically land on the "Theme" page where you'll need to provide the hex code for each color you would like to update/add.The color selected as the primary color will update the top banner of the site, the notification badge, the post highlight color, and many buttons through out the site.

Secondary Theme Color

Click the box next to "Enable Secondary Theme Color" to add/update a secondary color. The color selected as the secondary color will update the post highlight color and the unread post title.

Enable Error Color

Click the box next to "enable error color". The color selected as the enable error color will highlight any form fields which are required, and not completed when attempting to post.


Select Palette

Click on the drop box to select one of our pre-set color palettes, or click on "Custom" from the dropdown to create your own palette.


Basic outline of what each number controls:

  • 50 - Post list background, hard coded icon colors, select buttons
  • 100 - "Filters" and "Results" buttons on search, comment fields & search bar until clicked on, select buttons
  • 200 - Right side details panel background, hard coded room names, comment fields & search bar once clicked into
  • 300 - Post list scroll bar, category headers, menu editor icon, menu lock icon
  • 400 - Left navigation room highlight, post list updated time
  • 500 - Background color on room description behind "About the room", left navigation scroll bar, edit & view post buttons after selected
  • 600 - Left navigation background color, folder dropdown background, edit & view post buttons until selected, font color for: post view title, field headers, views, likes, tool bar in comments, subscribe button & attachment section, post list font color for room name, posts, members, settings, folder
  • 700 - Left navigation search bar



Customize Sidebar Color

Click the box next to "Customize Sidebar Colors" to just edit the left hand navigation section. From here you can control: 


  • Sidebar background color (left hand navigation background)
  • Sidebar select color (background color when you click on an icon)
  • Sidebar text color (color of room names/links)
  • Sidebar text selected color (color or rooms names/links when selected)
  • Sidebar icon color (color of default icons, category carets and lines)
  • Sidebar icon selected color (color of icons when selected)



App Icon and Welcome Banner Image

Update your app icon (logo in upper left hand corner and default room icon) or your welcome banner (home page icon on right side of screen - only viewable on web. 

Click on "Logo & Banner" to make updates.



Homepage

Update your app homepage, which appears on the web view of your system when you login. 

  • Click on "Homepage"
  • Click on "Create new homepage" (see screenshot below)


  • To update your existing homepage, click on "create from template" or to start from scratch, click on "create empty"
  • From the pop up, click on "add component +" to make updates (see screenshot below)
  • You can add in the following components: 
    • Site banner - pulls in the image uploaded for the welcome page
    • Site builder content - allows you to add columns, buttons, dividers, headings, HTML, images, menu and text
    • Rich text editor content - allows you to add in text or code
    • Featured post - creates a space for featured posts on the homepage
  • Once your updates are complete, click "Create plugin"
